Our match prefits have been winning matches, setting records and harvesting game for years. The easier it becomes for shooters to use them the better everyone is.
These barrels are the award winning, PVA exclusive, micro-honed, lapped, 416RR Barrels from Osprey Barrel Works (click HERE for more about Osprey Barrel Works).
They are all stainless and exceptionally high quality blanks that we contour in house using a proprietary process.
All OBW 224 Barrels are 1:7tw 0.219 bore barrels for the best performance with the heaviest jacketed bullets and the modern, high performance solid bullets. The 7tw provides extra RPM necessary to stabilize the heaviest, longest jacketed bullets out at extreme distances but it's not too fast that it will cause problems shooting lighter bullets like 65-75 class either. It's a good balance of overall performance for a broad range of chambering options. The carbon wrapped blanks all come in 1 contour size which is 1.16" shanke for 4" taper to 1" at 18" then straight to the muzzle at 1".
