The Patriot Valley Arms Barrel Nut System is designed for the DIY barrel change enthusiast. Since the Ruger Precision and Enhance Precision rifles have entered the market there has been a push for owners to be able to use any AR15 forend platform they want. This was possible to a point but the OEM barrel nut limited the ability for owners to have a clean, sleek installation. That problem is gone now with the PVA Barrel Nut for the Ruger Precision Rifle.
We strive for the utmost in quality in our product lines and this barrel nut system is no different. The pieces are manufactured from aerospace-grade alloys and case hardened using a ferritic nitrocarburizing process for longevity in use.
Please note: This is for the barrel nut only. The wrench shown in the picture is not included.
Recommended installation torque is 25-35 ftlb

RPR Barrel nut replacement
This barrel nut replacement for my RPR worked out very well and as advertised. Allowed me to install my handguard flush with the action after filing down a small area on the nut that the handguard came with to adjust position of set screws and attachment screws. After first firing I rechecked to make sure everything was still tight and no movement was detected and remained torqued at 35lb. Very happy with this barrel nut and ordered a backup since I change out barrels quite often.

Nice piece just didn’t work for my application
Very nice barrel nut just didn’t work for what I wanted to do. Might be user error as I thought this would allow other brands of hand guards to work with rpr. I tried an aero precision handguard after I got the nut installed but it still left a gap at the receiver. Back to the drawing board for now.

Great quality, works well
Love the quality of things put out by PVA. Using the nut and the included wrench made it very simple to swap out factory 6CM barrel on low priced RPR to make it my preferred 6.5CM caliber. Nice & easy!

RPR Barrel Nut
Seeing how this barrel nut is apparently the ONLY aftermarket barrel nut for the Ruger Precision Rifle it is worth the price at almost any cost, so the $50 I paid, or the current reduced price, are great values. The nut was machined very well. Threading is smooth and shiny despite the heat treating. The supplied crow foot wrench was surprisingly soft, as a file could easily remove material from it, but seeing how the required nut torque is only 35 lbs it is well up to the task. I am overall very pleased with this product.

Barrel nut is nice fit and clean finish, it is being used with Midwest RPR guards.

Ruger precision barrel nut
The RPR barrel nut is well worth the money, the wrench that is included fits an3/8”drive torque wrench for proper tightening. The fit and finish in perfect. Installs very easily. Top quality product. Look foreword to using more Patriot valley products in the future.

great product
Great product. I highly recommend over the OE but on the RPR. Be very careful installing as my experience found the edges of the nut wanting to round off as the upper end of the torque was reached. I attribute this more to the wrench adapter size than the quality of the but. If you are careful and take your time you will not have any issue.

Excellent aftermarket barrel nut
Great product. Hides away under the handguards and gives your RPR a better look. Definitely a great addition to any RPR build. Shipped fast and is solid quality for the price.
