Product Description
These are contract over-run barrels from our production shop. The current blank used is from the V400 series by Vortakt. These are 416R Stainless, finish lapped, stress relieved and button rifled; comparable performance to Criterion blanks. All of the tenons are setup to fit the Origin/Solus standard.
The chamber is a SAAMI spec 6.5 Creedmoor. Customers can choose from the contours listed, all contours have a 1.20" shank diameter.
During the bid process they shot factory ammo in the 0.6-0.8" range at 100yd after break in was completed.
We cannot offer any customization on these barrels at the price listed, custom options are always available through the Osprey lineup. We have a limited quantity and there is no promise of more coming, they just happened to be left after the contract was fulfilled.
