PVA is offering a precision hunting rifle composed of components well known within the competition circles for high accuracy. We have been seeing a lot of chatter online about certain other companies struggling to provide a repeatable hunting rifle, contrary to the marketing hype. We've also fixed and re-barreled more than a few. It's time to have a company that specializes in highly repeatable rifles put together a hunting rifle product, The Modus. The Modus is configured to be a well balanced pack rifle or mountain rifle depending upon options selected. The base model will make the 12lb weight limit for NRL Hunter classes in the base model configuration even with a 1lb bipod and 3lb scope/rings!
We are offering a range of calibers that currently have well-supported factory ammo options, therefore custom caliber and barrel modification requests are not offered. Each caliber has been tested to provide well inside sub-MOA performance with proper ammunition, good quality optics and optic mounts, and solid support. (Note: we do not recommend "lead sled" type supports for group testing).

"Cold bore, dead center impact 1,072 yards. I spent some time behind it today and it's a shooter. 156 Bergers at 2810fps are 'fricken laser beams'. It's actually pretty impressive. The recoil is very linear and easy to manage for a light system. Having a solid shelf to place your thumb takes the vertical dispersion that traditional stocks tend to induce. We have worked with Vantage Research to develop loaded ammunition with our Cayuga(TM) series hunting projectiles for 6.5mm Creedmoor and 6.5mm PRC rifles to serve regions with "Lead Free" requirements. Additional calibers are in the works for 6mm, 7mm, and 30 caliber ammunition. Customers who buy a Modus automatically receive a discount code with the rifle for their first order with Vantage.
Custom stock painting is available POR, the rifle pricing structure is for the carbon fiber shell as shown in the photos without additional painting.
Since 2024 is almost done and hunting season is upon us, we have a launch discount price that runs for the first 49 rifles ordered or until December 31, 2024. Whichever comes first. After that excise tax will apply and the pricing structure will have to increase. This is for a 50% deposit on the base rifle itself. When the rifle is ready to ship the balance will be due prior to shipping.
Add-on options are billed up front, balance due will be 50% of the base rifle plus shipping cost. Base rifle without add-ons is $2,999 SA and $3,099 LA.
