Pre-fit match barrels are the way of the future and PVA has been a fundamental driver of the market in Prefits since 2014. We have streamlined the ordering process to make it easy, quick and organized.
Our match prefits have been winning matches, setting records and harvesting game for years. The easier it becomes for shooters to use them the better everyone is.
These barrels are the award winning, PVA exclusive, micro-honed, lapped, 416RR Barrels from Osprey Barrel Works (click HERE for more about Osprey Barrel Works).
They are all stainless and exceptionally high quality blanks that we contour in house using a proprietary process.
All OBW 6.5mm Barrels are 1:7.5tw 0.256 bore barrels for the best performance with the heaviest jacketed bullets and the modern, high performance solid bullets. The 7.5tw provides extra RPM necessary to stabilize the heaviest, longest jacketed bullets out at extreme distances but it's not too fast that it will cause problems shooting lighter bullets like 120-135 class either. It's a good balance of overall performance for a broad range of chambering options.

7/300 Hammer
I sent my reamer and action in to have a custom 7/300 PRC made. The reamer was set- up specific for 195gr Berger EOL’s. I couldn’t be more happy with the results! The rifle holds consistent POA and does not print big groups. The turn around time was impressive as well as the communication. I will definitely be buying more barrels!

Osprey seven p r c barrel mounted to an american rifle company action
Received my osprey barrel mounted to a co-op DA gross action.I have not had a chance to put it all together.But as usual Patriot valley arms did a beautiful job.I'm looking forward to get in it.All assembled and out to the range and shoot some mile targets

Osprey 7mm pre-fit: Defiance ANTI
28” Medium Palma - 7mm Osprey pre-fit 7-300 PRC “wildcat” Just shot the last round of my 100 new brass. Load development will begin now after brass prep. Initial results are bordering on outstanding!!! Hornady 190 A-Tip, 76.5gr H1000, 5th off lands = 3149fps & 0.26 MOA @100yd (multiple 3 shot groups under 0.5 MOA) Berger 195 EOL, 76.5gr H1000, “Jam” minus 20th = 3138fps & 0.35 MOA @100yd (several 3-shot groups under 0.6 MOA) Initial results are truly impressive! This barrel should be a true tack-driver with some minor load development. I also shot a few Berger 180 and Hornady 180 - this barrel has eaten everything - all groups have been 1 MOA or better!!!!! Customer service was excellent. I spoke with Josh and Ben on 2 occasions before ordering the barrel. They answered immediately and provided the exact knowledge and expertise needed to answer my questions. Highly recommend!!
