Raven Pistol Compensator

Product Description

Continuing along with our well known line of rifle brakes is the new Raven pistol compensator.  Designed with the double-stack Glock models in mind this brake matches the exterior profile of the brake so that it slides into standard holsters and does not exceed the outer extents of the slide to comply with certain competition regulations.  The Raven was developed with certain performance requirements in mind:

• Maximum recoil and muzzle rise reduction
• Minimum weight change
• No spring changes for standard ammunition
• No accuracy and reliability degradation

The Raven is the result.  Precision CNC machined and engraved on site and easy to install; this compensator keeps the blast off shooters, keeps the muzzle rise to a minimum and runs without issue on standard Glock internals with threaded barrels. The bullet pathway and muzzle threads are machined in the same operation and verified to be true/straight to each other within <3um.  Basically, there's no concern about having baffle strikes or accuracy issues due to misalignment and runout from production. 

Ravens are made from 7000-series aluminum and anodized for years of service without degradation over time.  For owners that want to cerakote their compensator this is not a problem so long as the anodizing is not removed from the component.  Surface prep for painting is as simple as solvent washing the parts and keeping paint out of the mounting threads.
