Freedom Gunworks and Patriot Valley Arms have worked together to optimize the 6mm BR (and variant) experience for today's competition shooter. CK Arms developed a new basepad extension for the AICS pattern magazines that gives shooters at least 2 more rounds, sometimes 3 depending on the magazine being extended. They worked with us to incorporate features in their base pads to work seamlessly with the patented PVA magazine kits for the BR/Dasher/BR-A/BR-X cartridges.
The PRS Dasher +2 Basepad is available for AICS style single feed magazines and clones. It has additional material in the bottom of the basepad to support the spacer in most spacer kits to keep it from falling down in the magazine or allowing the rounds or follower to get hung on the spacer. The basepad is machined out of 6061 Aluminum and Type III hard coat anodized. It is secured to the mag tube by a pair of 8/32 set screws and allows 2 more rounds of ammo in the magazine bringing the capacity to 12 rounds.
