Osprey 6.5mm Prefit Barrels - All Actions

The machine quality of the barrel is second to none. The fluting is flawless. When torquing onto the action, the head spacing was perfect. For a prefit barrel, I don’t think I could expect more. As for performance, the barrel break in process is smooth and easy. I shot a variety of grain weight from 100 to 147. The largest group at 100 yards was .48 inches. Realistically, that could have been the user as well. The best group was three shots all touching. The reason I gave it 4 stars instead of 5 was that it took just short of 4 months to get here. If judging purely off of quality and performance, Patriot Valley and the work that they do is a 5 out of 5 stars.

I have got say the customer service and prompt responses as well as delivery are top notch, I don't really write reviews whether good or bad unless it was something extraordinary. These guys are awesome, called in needing a prefit with an odd request for the muzzle threading/contour on the end of the barrel to fit an over the barrel suppressor without having to have a barrel spun up by a gunsmith and waiting 6-10 months for one in my area to be able to get to it. Ben answered and was friendly but said it wasn't something he was sure they could help me with but that he could ask Josh the owner. I sent in the specs for the contour and threading, within the hour I had a response saying they could do it for a reasonable fee. I called back the following day and spoke to Josh directly, had a nice conversation with him even got some insight on the dreaded Tikka barrel torque which I had heard so much about. I placed the order and even with the on off work, the rush service I paid for was met ahead of deadline, machine work looked fantastic, even my cerakote guy said it looked great. Finally got my headspace gauges today and it headspaced perfectly. I'm really looking forward to shooting it and developing a load for the new barrel, I have no doubt it will shoot lights out! Thanks again Josh and Ben, you gentleman are what customer service and product quality should be! You have certainly gained a loyal customer.

Barrel is beautiful, fluting looks amazing. I called and was directed to the taper and configuration that fit my needs perfectly. And…it’s a tack driver. As always, great products and great service from PVA!

Just installed my new 260 pre-fit barrel on a big horn origin. First three shots through one hole. Great product. Can't wait to re-barrel my tikka 223 to one of these.

I haven't had a lot of time Behind the sparrow because it's rain down there every day.But the once I did get out to shoot it.It seems to be about a quarter m o a barrel. Also a nice job done on throwing up my Remington stainless action

Fit and finish are second to none. Still breaking in the barrel and it's shooting 1/4 moa.

Great product and service. I ordered a prefit barrel for my Tikka. Benjamin was very patient and helpful. Barrel came in on schedule. Fit and finish was perfect. Most importantly, it’s very accurate. Followed their break in procedure and shot multiple sub half MOA groups with factory ammo.

unbelievable service! they went above and beyond for me on this barrel. barrel is superb. fit well, shoots even better. great work with custom chamber and profile. seamless thread protector- what can i say, i cant even see the line when its on.
