Osprey 6mm Prefit Barrels - All Actions

This barrel is wonderful, shot sub-MOA for 10 shots+ right out of the gate. Couldnt be more happy with the workmanship, and they had it done and at my door within 2 weeks. Would highly reccomend!

everything is correct as ordered. even the logo matches up to the side just like if they'd had the reciever. machining looked great, headspaced about between .0005 and .001 thou longer than my customs. (the barrel was made before this CDG action) it hammered my old loads like a top quality barrel should, very pleased.

I went on PVA's website and instantly overwhelmed by my lack of knowledge on barrels. Tapers, contours, length and twists etc After a few days of trying to figure out what I think I need from online searches. With no real progress being made I finally decide reluctantly that I should try calling PVA for some advice. When I was fully expecting to get rushed off the phone and with my elementary questions while annoying the person on the other end. That is not at all what I got. The gentleman on the phone answered every question help me identify what I needed and engaged in a conversation sharing information and experiences. This is why I will always use Patriot valley arms. Now the performance. If I do my part at 100 yards I can group quarter minute consistently. And I mean consistent . My local range goes out to 600 yards and at that distance I consistently get half minute to quarter minute groups. Not bad for a Ruger American running Hornady match factory ammo.

I called PVA to find a prefit for my Terminus Zeus QC. Ben answered and was a big help. He walked me through all the different barrel options they had to fit my needs. I settled on the Osprey after listening to his recommendation and reading some reviews online. When ordering I did pay to have it expedited, not being very patient. My barrel was shipped within two weeks as stated. I followed their instructions on the website for barrel break-in. After the first cleaning, that was by far the dirtiest, the subsequent cleanings produced very little copper and carbon. I have shot 60 rounds now and couldn't be any happier. My 5 shot groups are averaging 1/2 moa with factory Hornady 6ARC ELDM ammo. I recommend trying the Osprey barrel for your next build. I think you will be happy.

This barrel is awesome and the people at PVA are awesome. 100% recommend!!!!!

I’ve purchased close to 10k in match grade barrels from Proof Research, Bartlein, Benchmark, Carbonsix, and a few others. The two Osprey barrels I purchased just happen to shoot factory boxed Hornady the best out of any barrel to date and clean super easy. Maybe I just got lucky on these two, but I’ll be purchasing more here shortly.

This is my 3rd or 4th barrel from PVA. I ran a Rock Creek Prefit on my Fuzion the last 2 years with excellent results. Figured I’d try an Osprey given the price and I’m not disappointed. Screws the barrel on and it zeroed within .1 mils of the last barrel and started printing groups below 1/2 minute right out of the box. I’d definitely grab another one of these

I've been shooting PRS for 4 years now and shot alot of different barrels, the Osprey line of barrels are great, the most consistent barrel ive shot. Velocity and groups never changed. I'll be shooting these barrels from now on!

I’m on my 2nd Osprey pre-fit fir my Terminus Zeus with the quick change tenon. I’m moving to dtac’s for the second barrel and the first 10 rounds were ½ moa or better without any load development. Chamber/headspace from the first barrel to the second are consistent. First barrel was broken in after 100 rounds. The second is trending that way as well. Neither hold onto a lot of copper and clean up very well.
