Our match prefits have been winning matches, setting records and harvesting game for years. The easier it becomes for shooters to use them the better everyone is.
These barrels are the award winning, PVA exclusive, micro-honed, lapped, 416RR Barrels from Osprey Barrel Works (click HERE for more about Osprey Barrel Works).
They are all stainless and exceptionally high quality blanks that we contour in house using a proprietary process.
All OBW 6mm Barrels are 1:7tw 0.237 bore barrels for the best performance with the heaviest jacketed bullets and the modern, high performance solid bullets.

6mm Osprey Prefit
Awesome! Multiple orders for 6 BRA—just drills small groups. Very consistent load/velocity/accuracy over life of barrel. Also…seem to last at bit longer than many of the other barrels I have used. Great barrels…and price is the icing on the cake.

PVA 6BR Barrel
I struggled to find a gunsmith that could chamber a barrel properly for my Defiance Deviant Elite action which has a coned bolt face. Josh did a perfect chamber job. Some details that might be of interest: I did a break in procedure where I fired one round-cleaned, then 3 rounds-cleaned and then 5 rounds and a clean. Pulled just a little copper after the first round only. Fired 50 rounds to continue the break in on the barrel. Fired 50 more the next day and then started load development. 29.6 of N140 with a Berger 109 seated 0.060 off the lands produced a .3moa 5 round group at 100 with an ES of 5fps. Now that’s a “hammer”.

Barrel very consistent. Quite fast. Cleans easily. Very Satisfied with performance! Be advised that PVA straight contours are a lil bit different than most other makers. Take the time to understand their contours if that is important to You!

Osprey prefit
I've been running prefits in competition for a while now, these Osprey barrels are some of the best I've used. The machine work was great, I ran a bore scope down and it was very impressive. Last week I shot a 8"group at 1000. Whatever magic there using on these Osprey barrels is special.
