The "Jet Blast" is the latest addition to Patriot Valley Arms' popular muzzle brake line-up. It brings a welcome addition to the line of brakes known for excellent recoil reduction, easy installation, and excellent manufacturing quality. The "Jet Blast" ports are optimized for precision rifles and approved for use up to 300 Win Mag to reduce recoil, aid in precision and shootability, ease of install and do it all without directing muzzle blast back onto the shooter because the rearward angle is optimized to "shadow" the shooter. This is accomplished by using our new patent-pending "Blast Shadow" ports. Take a look at the snapshots we grabbed during testing, recoil reduction levels over 57% have been measured with this brake!
Our self-timing brakes use a threaded collar in order to index the muzzle brake without additional machining work required on each barrel. It is also not 1-time use like other machine-timed brakes but rather can be used barrel after barrel after barrel, saving shooters significant money on each subsequent barrel that they purchase. It uses the same locking collar approach that is found on our other brakes and includes part interchangeability with the "Mad Scientist".
Users have found excellent performance with simply putting the brakes on by hand without tools however if it is necesssary the brake uses (2) 15/16" wrenches to snug into place and does not need any thread locking agents to maintain position firmly locked to the end of the barrel for thousands of rounds of use. Most shooters elect to simply install it by hand for quick and easy removal when using a suppressor.

- 1/2-28 with 6mm aperture (Standard)
- 5/8-24 with 6mm aperture (Black Nitride only)
- 5/8-24 with 6.5mm aperture (Standard)
- 5/8-24 with 30cal aperture (Standard)
- 5/8-24 with 33cal aperture (Black Nitride only)
The Jet Blast is 1" OD x 2.4" long and accepts up to 0.8" of thread engagement on the muzzle.

Excellent Brake
I bought this brake for my new rifle which is a heavy barrel Howa 1500 barreled action in a KRG Btavo Chassis. The brake not only performs well, it really looks good too and the nitride finish matches closely to the black oxide bluing on my rifle. I really like this brake and was attracted to the feature that the blast doesn’t come back to the shooter. It truly lives up to that promise and the rifle is is slightly louder with the brake. At the range today I got to compare this brake with another gentleman’s PRS rifle with another very popular brand and when he let me shoot his rifle the blast back was very noticible by comparison to the jet blast. I also like how easy this was to install - the video PV has on this base that easy and this is the first brake I ever installed myself. The rifle felt very different with the brake. The recoil reduction was noticeable and the rifle had much less jump/movement. I could see me shots hitting the target which I could not do without the brake because of the movement. I am very happy with this brake and its performance and will be recommending it to my friends that are looking for brakes for their rifles.

Jet Blast Muzzle Brake
I have tried several known brands of Brakes on the market. This is the first muzzle Brake that checks all the boxes: Reduced felt recoil, Times easy, looks great and did not change my accuracy or POI on my handloads. My review is based on performance and not marketing hype. In my opinion, this Brake is the best on the market and second to none.

Super Slick Brake
The Jet Blast 3 port muzzle brakes from PVA are well designed. The self timing nut system is great. The port angles direct the muzzle blast away from the shooter, while still maintaining excellent recoil reduction and muzzle flip. Love Patriot Valley!!! Grab a barrel from them as well, they do excellent work. Everything is quality!!!
