The "Jet Blast" is the latest addition to Patriot Valley Arms' popular muzzle brake line-up. It brings a welcome addition to the line of brakes known for excellent recoil reduction, easy installation, and excellent manufacturing quality. The "Jet Blast" ports are optimized for precision rifles and approved for use up to 300 Win Mag to reduce recoil, aid in precision and shootability, ease of install and do it all without directing muzzle blast back onto the shooter because the rearward angle is optimized to "shadow" the shooter. This is accomplished by using our new patent-pending "Blast Shadow" ports. Take a look at the snapshots we grabbed during testing!
The "Jet Blast" uses the same locking collar approach that is found on our other brakes and includes part interchangeability with the "Mad Scientist".
The "Jet Blast" uses a threaded collar in order to index the muzzle brake without additional machining work required on each barrel. It is also not 1-time use like other machine-timed brakes but rather can be used barrel after barrel after barrel, saving shooters significant money on each subsequent barrel that they purchase.
Users have found excellent performance with simply putting the brakes on by hand without tools however if it is necesssary the brake uses (2) 15/16" wrenches to snug into place and does not need any thread locking agents to maintain position firmly locked to the end of the barrel for thousands of rounds of use. Most shooters elect to simply install it by hand for quick and easy removal when using a suppressor.

I bought this for a 6.5 creedmoor. Has easy install. Never shot gun without brake, but shoots like a dream with it installed. Verry little recoil. I would buy another when needed.
Bought a Jetblast brake a little over a year ago, it's been great ever since. No muzzle blast at the shooter, and good recoil minimizing ability.
The recoil is so well tamed on my Bergara b14 hmr .308. At 100 yards I was easily watching the holes being made in the target. Before I would have to use fumble around to get the scope back on target after each shot. Even at 400 yards I was watching sparks fly off the steel plates (shooting at dusk is fun for that reason). Also the felt recoil and backwards concussion is so much less. This is a must have for a .308 precision rifle!
Excellent machining and finish. Easy to install, and dramatic reduction in muzzle blast. I highly recommend it.
Started with a lil bastard which yielded excessive gas in the face, like getting hit with a tennis racket in the face. Made a transition to the Mad Scientist which yielded no gas in the face. Decided to try the jet blast, it is louder to the ear but yields no gas in the face.
Machining and finish are really nice. The recoil reduction is superb! Installation is really easy with no tools required. The machined flats are nice so you can use a level. None of the blast is felt by the shooter. I really love this brake!
Great product, very little muzzle rise, easy installation, easily allows me to see impacts
I'm loving my new brake. I installed it on a savage model 12 vlp with stainless barrel in a 300 wsm, it matched up good with my barrel diameter. I really love the looks of it and It is really enjoyable to shoot now. Felt recoil is not much more than my buddies 22-250. Shooting off hood of my truck I can see my hits in 8" steel at 1100 yards, I can see my misses also, lol. I'm really happy with it and would buy another. Called a couple times with ?s before ordering and was always welcomed with a voice and not a machine. Only took a couple days to receive. I don't notice any concussion while shooting it.
It is by far the best Break I have used a noticeable difference in the other breaks i have used.
